| | Swiss IWIB Role Model Series: Bas van Buijtenen, IDP-C20, LTS, and Amira Ghozali. Aptar Pharma May 24, 2022 Starting small with Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) might very well lead to big results. At least it did for Amira and Bas when they worked together at Aptar Pharma, an innovative drug delivery company with 13,000 employees around the world. The Aptar DEI initiative began with minimal resources. It was a grassroots project that spread from a single business unit to the whole company. Join us to hear how they did it, including the key differences that led to a successful programme. The IWIB Swiss Role Model Series aims to make visible some successful of the pioneers for gender equality, and to foster discussion amongst participants to learn from each other. The series is organized in collaboration with Fish in the Boardroom, the podcast about Diversity and Inclusion in Swiss leadership. She is experienced in Competitive/Market Intelligence, Strategy, Business development and Innovation in Pharmaceutical, Chemical, Software industries. Next to her role, Amira is also Chair of the first employee resource group within Aptar Group, launched in 2020, named ALIGN, focused on Gender Balance topics, as part of the global DEI Strategy. Aptar was named a Global Top 10 Female-Friendly Company by Forbes and is number eight out of the 300 companies included for 2021. | | Bas van Buijtenen, IDP-C20, AMP05, CEO, LTS Lohmann Therapie-Systeme AG As CEO, Bas is chair of the Executive Board at LTS since mid-2020, He also serves as non-executive board member in several other companies, including Microphyt and ABC Transfer. When Bas and Amira worked together on the beginnings of their D&I initiative, he was President of the Global Injectables Division at Aptar Pharma. | | Andrea Ullmann, MBA ’10J Andrea is a marketing and sales executive with an international career in the medical device industry. She is a member of the Swiss IWIB Committee and the host of Fish in the Boardroom, a podcast focusing on how to bring more Diversity, Equity & Inclusion in Swiss Leadership. | | Kathrin Niederlaender, GEMBA’17 Kathrin Niederlaender is an Operations executive that develops and deploys strategy across Operations with a digital touch in the Consumer goods sector. She has held a variety of leadership roles in operational excellence, operations strategy and business development in Nestlé, Givaudan and JnJ.
