Issy-les-Moulineaux City Hall, Multimedia Room

Start: Friday, 05 Oct 2012 08:00

End: Friday, 05 Oct 2012 16:00

Since February 2012, Issy Media is involved in the "Citadel on the move" project. Cofinanced by European Commission, it aims to develop an European platform stimulating the creation and adoption of new mobiles services thanks to open data resources in the field of tourism and transports.

"Citadel on the Move" will create interoperable formats favoring the opening of data by local authorities and templates to facilitate the creation of mobile applications by citizen and developers.

In this context, the City of Issy-les-Moulineaux, already welcoming on 4th October the project General Assembly, organizes on 5th October from 8h00 to 4h00pm in the City Hall's Multimedia Room, a conference entitled "Open Data: Where to begin? ".

This European event, gathering both local authorities and businesses, will give the opportunity to tackle the topic of Open Data on a very practical view. If the value and potential of Open Data are not to be discussed anymore, local authorities and businesses have to be accompanied in their first steps in the light of successful experiences.
